TA-DA!!!!

So I moved into my new place a few weeks ago and now I am finally unpacked. One of the conditions to me staying longer was to switch apartments because Liz wanted the new teacher to take over my old apt (which is close to her place). I wasn't looking forward to the move but it gave me an opportunity to sort through all of my stuff and do some down-sizing for my big move back to Canada in 2 months and counting.........
After all was said and done I actually enjoy my new space more, so in the end things worked out in my favor.
Welcome to my new home
This is the view of my apartment as soon as you walk in:

And the infamous single-bed:

The view from my bed:

Hurray for the kitchen, which is oh so big:

Surprisingly I can fit all my clothes in this bureau:

Let's watch some Korean T.V -- hey it looks like my bear is waving at you (and I did not intend for that):

Is that a helmet on my bookshelf??? My boyfriend bought a scooter so that he can easily get to my place now that I live farther away from him. He bought me this cute little helmet so that I can ride on the back with him:

My cozy corner:

Well that's the grand tour. I couldn't upload the pics of my bathroom but it is much bigger than my old one, but I still don't have a bathtub. The shower water drain directly onto the floor (totally Korean style).

It's not that I wanted the new teacher closer to me. It is that I promised her the new apartment. Don't blame me cause you had to switch apartments. I am a person of my word and I just tried to keep it, thats all.

Okay, Liz, you sound snarky. And no where in that post does Jen make it sound like she blames you for having to move....unless there is more to this than Jen makes it sound.

haha Marie, you make me laugh....

You are right though in saying that my blog wasn't offensive. I don't know why she said what she did.

All I said was that "Liz wanted the new teacher to take over my old apt (which is closer to her place)".........which is exactly true.

ps. I always loved how you are not afraid to voice your opinion.........good for you girl!!!

Miss you, see you soon

If I was not being blamed then why use my name "Liz wanted the new teacher to take over my old apt". Why not just say she had to move due to the school (which is the exact truth). I didn't realize I had so much power at the school, since I get to decide where everyone lives, I will move Jen closer to me as well. I mean, since I get to decide who lives where, why not have Jen live close to me because she is a great person and who wouldn't want great people near them. As for you Marie... I never personally attacked anyone, and you did. That was really mature. P.S I am not irrating, I am hilarious, and if you bothered to know who I am before you made a judgement you would know that. Luckily for you I won't comment on your character, because frankly I have too much class for that. Good luck with your future.

Let's clear this up........

I stated the reason why I moved and did not intend for anyone to feel offended. The reason I said Liz is because everyone back home knows Liz (if you read my second post I mention that she is my best friend here in Korea). Also Liz did not want her friend to move into this apartment because the teacher who lived here before was kinda dirty, so she was looking out for her friends best interests (which is good). And Judy (my boss) said specifically to me that if I wanted to stay longer (which I did) than I would have to switch apartments because Liz told her friend NOT to take the job if she got this apartment (Judy's words not mine).

Hey Liz, yah it does suck that I live further from you because now we never hang out. As you know I am not really into the drinking scence -- only you know why (and quite frankly I never was.......most of the times I forced myself to go out because I know you always had a great time). But whenever you and Jamie do something that does not involve drinking than I would love to hang with you girls.

Bottom line, the main thing here is that I really enjoy my new place and that I am happy with my move. So let this be the last comment on this post.

PEACE OUT!!!!!!

Your new place looks so spacious even though it is smaller than your old apt. Hey, I know what it is !! The walls are not purple. Yah that must be it.

hahahahahaha Awww Liz, sounds like a hit a nerve. Because if you did know me, and obviously you don't nor probably ever will, I wasn't attacking you, I was stating the obvious. I am blunt, always have been, always will be. You were being a tad snarky, and you can't deny that you were. Snarky is almost the same as defensive to me, and that is how you came off. And if you re-read your comment, you do sound as if you have the power to decide where someone lives because you did say that you promised her the apartment, and not the school. You cleared it up later, but in your originally post, you stated you promised her, not the school.

And, I just wanted to point out, that you did make a judgement on my character, saying I am not very mature. Calling someone snarky isn't a comment on their character, its the same as telling someone they are being bitchy, or grumpy, or silly. So to you Liz, good luck with your future...mine is bright, happy and wonderful, so thanks for the best wishes.
