A Canadian Christmas!!!

We rushed up the stairs to check out our stockings and open our goodies that Santa left behind

Sung Hyun got a pack of beef jerky and left some dried octopus and fish in my parents stockings. He said it must have been the Korean Santa that left those behind ;)

Santa left us a pair of Christmas socks that we had to wear all day

My brother opened his envelope and I'm sure it was money, hence the big kiss

Every year it's tradition for my best friend Kenda to come over for Christmas dinner. I'm so happy to see her at this time every year

Christmas Eve

Well things seemed to work themselves out and although a lot of domestic flights were cancelled mine was a go. I arrived home at 5:30 pm (only 2 hours past my eta) on Christmas Eve!!!! I was greeted by my family and a few friends. It's always nice to see familiar faces at the airport.

It was minus 22, but I didn't care because I made it home for Christmas Eve.

It's always nice to walk into my home and feel a sense of comfort, of belonging!!!!

Tonight was no exception.

Japan rocks

On the way back to Canada Sung Hyun and I had a 5 hour layover in Tokyo Japan. Many Westerners tend to think that Asian culture is homogenous, however after living in Korea for the past 3 years I can say that my mini trip to Japan (as I only saw the inside of the airport) was an eye opener for the both of us.

Japan seems like a really neat culture. One that I would like to explore in the future. One thing I do know about my mini-venture to Japan is that it's damn expensive!!!!!

Flight delay

My flight is delayed in Tokyo which might mean I miss my connecting flight is Vancouver. Then I'll have to figure a new way to get home (maybe via Calgary).

Stupid delay.....................

........have an eye exam, pick out a new set of frames and upgrade the lenses all within less than 24 hours and for only 55 bucks!!!! I loves loves loves KOREA!!!!!!!!
