We splurged a little on the weekend and bought ourselves a camera with lots of buttons. Sung Hyun has wanted one for awhile now so we finally made the big purchase. I don't have enough patience to figure it out. But maybe one day........

The happy couple is getting married this summer in the States. I'll be in Korea working my butt off but I'll certainly be thinking of them on their special day. Hugs to you both from Korea ;)

On Sunday Sung Hyun and I joined some friends for a picnic in the park.It was a beautiful day. Notice Sung Hyun wearing a sweater; he's always cold!

I took these beautiful pictures a few weeks back on an afternoon stroll around Yeoido. There is a select opportunity every spring, say 10 days give and take, when you are able to witness the cherry blossoms in full bloom. AND SPRING IS DEFINITELY HERE!!!!!

My dear friend Charlie..........

Charlie was one of my first Korean friends. The number of times we met could be counted on two hands. Regardless, he is just one of those people that you can't forget. Our talks, always so deep and passionate -- straight from the heart.

I met Charlie my first year in Korea, about a week after I met Sung Hyun, when all things in Korea were still new and fresh to me. I haven't had the opportunity to meet Charlie for the past 2 years since he's away doing his mandatory military service. A lot of time has passed since then. I think about him though -- where he is in his life, how much has changed since we met last.

I hope our paths cross again!!!

Sung Hyun called me wife 5 times within the first hour. We both laughed! This is so weird.

Wedding cards!!!

Sent out most of my wedding cards. Most, but not all. The procrastinator in me works to my favour in this case since it's common to receive wedding cards only 2 weeks in advance. It's two weeks just now so I'm doing good!!!!

I even made a list mom!!!!!

Last full day with Kenda -- Tuesday March 3rd

Uneventful Monday

Monday was pretty chill. We were so busy on Sunday that it was nice to just sleep in and enjoy the day off with really nothing in mind. I had the day off because I used one of my personal days, so not worrying about work was nice too.

Stayed in bed all day and then headed out to meet up with my friends for dinner.

Then we went to a board game cafe to play some games. Sung Hyun finished English class in time to join us for a round of Monopoly

Hard to win if no one lands on your property. Poor Shane invested so much in those houses however we always managed to skip around them

Sunday with Kenda

Yup I'm about 2 weeks behind on my blog......ughhh! But I guess that happens when you have a full time job and a full time life outside of work. Haven't been getting home until after 10 usually each night which leaves little time for computer fun. I'm looking forward to having some time off for myself during the week of my wedding. Which, might I add, is only a couple weeks away. More on that later though. Enjoy the beautiful pics we took on Sunday together. Our day was jam packed with good times:

First a stop at Krispie Kreme doughnuts for some goodness. Then off to a palace to watch a changing of the guards ceremony

Got to try on a hanbok. Amanda was right.......pregnant mushroom comes to mind when looking at this picture. Hopefully my wedding one will fit better

After the palace we did some walking since the weather was so beautiful

Then ended up at my favourite little Indian joint for dinner

Kenda tried everything but didn't really like any of it (except the bread)

Then off to Seoul tower to check out the bright lights

Then to Myeong dong for some more late night shopping
